OLIVER CLARK - BIOGRAPHY
Oliver Clark is a musician, actor, stand-up comedian, host and voice over artist who originates from a small coastal town in the UK, and grew up in Melbourne, Australia.
Harking back to the vintage performers of Vegas, such as Tom Jones, Elvis, Dean Martin and Andy Williams, Oliver embodies everything that is the consummate all-round entertainer. His dynamic stage presence along with his incredibly powerfully yet soulful voice will inevitably have the audience begging for more. He has recently launched his new single ‘Making Muffins’, with a video clip featuring an all star comedic cast. He has also previously released four studio albums filled with classic melodies and innuendo fuelled lyrics, as well as an online Hawaiian Special. He has been front-man and lead vocalist for a 19 piece Big Band called the Miles High Jazz Orchestra for over four years, performing at festivals and events throughout Victoria.
Oliver has also been performing stand-up comedy for past fifteen years around Australia, as well as travelling the world to places such as Las Vegas, London, and New York treading the boards and supporting comedians such as Wayne Brady and the Amazing Johnathon. He has written and performed seven solo show’s in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s, and has also been a part of the Comedy Festival Roadshow.
Oliver has had many TV appearances over the last few years, appearing as part of the core cast of Channel 7’s comedy sketch series Kinne, and a guest roles on Hamish & Andy’s True Stories, Channel 7’s Orange Is The New Brown, ABC’s It’s A Date and Twenty Something. He also had a feature role on Foxtel’s Six Beers Of Separation, in which he performed alongside comedian Will Arnett, and actor/creator of Arrested Development, Mitch Hurwitz, Oliver has also recently hosted an episode of channel 31’s Tonight Show About Tonight.
In the world of Television Commercials, Oliver has quickly cemented his presence in the industry having been made Ambassador for BP/Velocity Rewards from 2016-2018. He has also had lead roles for ad’s for Mortgage Choice and Focus On Furniture, and Cole’s Supermarket.
Oliver has also had many and varied guest spots on radio. He was been a regular guest on Triple JJJ with Sam Simmons and Paul Verhoeven, as well as guest co-host on ABC’s 774 with George McEncroe. He has appeared on Saturday morning with Dave Thornton & Mel Buttle on Nova 100, and also had a regular segment on Triple R’s Breakfasters.
